I almost considered giving Casa Cat Ba a good review, but the noise from the fridge was unbearable! Not to mention the pathetic closet space—I'd expect better for the price! I even woudl've appreciated a welcome drink, or some gesture for the inconvenience, but alas, just another commoner experience.

Casa Cat Ba offered a sensational dining experience with freshly caught fish and unique Mexican breakfasts, like the flavorful sincronizadas! The staff was exceptional, making my solo stay feel welcoming, and I loved the overall ambiance of the hotel, perfectly blending relaxation and local charm.

I was disappointed with the beach in front of our hotel. The tides had brought a great deal of sea grass, which made wading out impossible. However, walking to nearby Punta Mosquito and Punta Coco was a breeze, giving us more beach options and that right balance of fun. Also, be prepared for some aggressive mosquitoes!

Everyone who works there is kind and goes above and beyond. I had breakfast every morning it was fresh and different every day plus homemade and filling. The staff would always offer help like giving advice on what to do and even.

It wasn't exactly affordable but it still felt worth it because of the overall experience.

We loved the amazing sea view from our balcony, perfect for watching stunning sunsets! The staff went above and beyond to ensure our family had a great time, even helping us plan our adventures like snorkeling. My father enjoyed relaxing in the cozy lounge areas too.

My wife says that there could be better closet space for storing clothes.

Utterly happy with everything.

I loved the stylish design of my room and the amazing shower products that made my hair shine! There were nice sun loungers on a terrace and beach umbrellas that made it easy to relax by the sea. Just a heads up, the beach had some sea grass that made wading tricky, but walking to nearby beaches was a nice alternative. 🙂

Just a good pick for a flash visit in Isla Holbox with good value for money. The evening cookies were a nice touch that we looked forward to after exploring. Bring plenty of bug spray for the mosquitoes around the area.
